History:
Rosetta was the first child born from the union of Ron and Hermione Weasley. Hermione had convinced Ron to let her name the child after such a famous discovery, for both wizard and muggle worlds. She was dotted on, and spent much time with her cousin Albus when their parents were together. Rose thought of Albus like a brother or twin to her, and James as her older brother. She would never really want an older brother, thanks to James. He was always doing some sort of prank and it always got on her nerves. On thing their parents laugh about today is when James got her mad when she was three and she made his food explode in his face.
When Rose was eight, she was playing a game of hide and seek while their parents were outside for a garden party. All the kids were supposed to stay inside and they had finally agreed on a game. Thinking she had found a good hiding place, she had quickly slid inside and quietly shut the door. Hours went by, and thinking they had forgotten about her she tried to get out. It took only seconds to realize the door was locked. Scared, Rosetta had tried shouting and banging on the door but no one heard her. Sitting back, she hugged her legs and rocked back and forth, trying to keep her negative thoughts down. When they found her, she was still rocking with tears flowing down her cheeks whispering to herself.
Rosetta was over excited when she got her Hogwart’s acceptance letter. She immediately owled Albus with the good news, and almost shouted with joy when they came to visit and Albus also had his letter. Rose was sorted into Gryffindor, her mind always thinking about Gryffindor and how much she wanted to be just like her parents in that area. In Gryffindor it was more fun, at least that was what she had been told. She did enjoy being in Gryffindor though, the parties after a won Quidditch match were great. She didn’t socialize that much, but she did have a few close friends and believes that’s better than having a hundred fake friends. She likes the décor of the common room, the furniture very comfortable for an evening of studying or doing some homework.

Rose glanced up at the clock in her parent's kitchen. She needed to know her owl scores soon, she was sure she was going to explode. Her legs carried her back and forth on the tiled floor as she kept her hands behind her back and quoted the different spells she had learned so far, alphabetically and in which class they pertained too. Nervous, she pulled her red curls out of her face and behind her ear, stopping once more to glance up at the clock that seemed to take forever to tick.
Swallowing, Rose looked out the window. The owls always came around noon, always. Her mother was out for today, and ole' daddy was helping Hugo with Quidditch outside while they waited. She had tried to join them earlier, but had been distracted by ever bird that had come their way that she had just quit to save them the time and patience. The sky was a nice blue out, with a few puffy clouds scattered here and there. She couldn't really see the sun, but the even though she couldn't it was still quite bright out.
Rose sighed and sank in defeat on one of the four kitchen chairs. She had failed her owls, that's why they hadn't got there yet. They knew she had studying so hard on them, staying up nearly all night just to review, and since she hadn't gotten a good night's sleep she had failed. Perhaps not failed in the sense of an F, but certainly not up to what her mother had gotten when she had taken her owls. Hermione Granger, for that was her name when she wasn't married her Rose's dad, had gotten nearly perfect O's on her owl card. Slouching, Rose let herself wallow in her self pity.
With a swoosh, a bird landed on her kitchen table. Nervous, Rose tentatively took the envelope that the owl had in it's beak. Giving the smart bird a treat, Rose looked at the front of the envelope. Neatly written in plain black and white, was her name, her full name. The letter couldn't be for anyone else. Her hands shook as she opened the envelope, afraid to take out the note that she was sure was inside. Taking a couple deep breathes, Rose pulled out the note and squealed with delight. A grin had replaced the wrinkles of worry. Like mother, like daughter. She had nearly gotten all O's as well, only getting an E in Arithmancy. She knew she hadn't gotten an O on that, she had spent most of her time on the other subjects and had nearly fallen asleep by the time she came to the last subject to study. She would have to work harder on Arithmancy. Running outside, Rose shouted for her dad and brother to come look at her scores with the greatest of earnest.
