They say that War often makes for Strange bedfellows and they certainly wasn't wrong. With the War with Voldemort in full swung, the Order and the Death Eaters were both experiencing heavy losses. Family's were killed, muggles murdered in there sleep. It was all around a bad time to be anything remotely human with the darkness seeming intent of consuming the light. Than something happened, something unexpected a Divination's Teacher had a true vision. One that was overheard by a young man torn between his loyalty, his love and his growing interest in the Dark Arts.
Said young man, One Severus Tobias Snape seemed to recall in perfect detail the prophecy. This he told to his Dark Lord. Drawing the man's attention to him, and his interest as well. This was after all one of his most valuable servants. His spy at Hogwarts after all. Offered a boon not something given or taken lightly he reserved it for a later date. Cementing his friendship with Lucius Malfoy and Narcissa his wife, a woman that Severus viewed as something akin to a sister. A woman who understood how much pain having a burning love for someone could be. She got her Happily Ever After. She was only hoping her dark haired friend would find his.
Bellatrix Lestrange and her husband Rudolphus Lestrange had been trying to have children for years. So when she falls pregnant at a time that would put her child in the running to be the Child to be the Chosen One, what will they do ?
Now the Order is not having it much better, with all there losses, and things happening tail end over tail end. James Potter, and Alice Logan are both very aware that he's a married man, and both very well aware they should not have the growing attraction they do have for one another. So after a near death experience for the pair while on mission. The two develop a more intimate relationship. Alice becomes pregnant this wouldn't normally be so bad, but she's single and James is a married man. With a wife also pregnant at home. The tension is certainly running strong between them. Leaving them to wonder what there going to do. How will they work that out ?
Lily, isn't quiet oblivious to the fact that her husband had a wandering eye in school. She never quiet believed that it would wander to one of her better friends. Alice. So there was blinding shock when she realized just who James had been seeing.Leaving her home where she had been hidden away. Lily a very capable witch made her exit unknown to everyone even James and Sirius the only person to know of her departure is Remus Lupin, and her best girlfriend from school Mary McDonald. As the two had a somewhat blooming romance that had been developing in school the years they had known each other.
Returning to her family home near Spinner's End Lily was in for another shock this one more pleasing to her. Her sister Petunia was getting married. The blond woman couldn't have been more radiant at least until Lily showed up and the fuss went from the coming wedding to the crimson haired golden child. Trying to repair the bridge between herself and her sister she tells Petunia everything about what had happened to her. Petunia instead of being there for her sister throws it back in her face and laughs at her. It seemed the bridge that had been teetering on the edge of the Abyss broke and fell in. Sending Lily from the house not speaking a word of her pregnancy to any of them.
Into the small park that had been the home of childhood joy. Lily encounters another ghost of her past. This one being a tall solemn dark haired young man. Still pained and horrified by what he had called her Severus who had long been her best friend before everything went to hell in a hand basket apologized firmly for his presence and turned to leave the place that held his fondest memories. However, Lily called him back to her in needt of a friend. No words could cut her as deeply as the betrayal she felt from James. Old wounds had healed while not cleanly well enough. The two manage to repair the wounds of four years apart with a simple heartfelt conversation. Though as the conversation turns more personal and the two grow closer over her months hiding. He learns her deepest secret she's pregnant.
Fearful of the answer he realizes the child no matter if it is that of his most spiteful enemy is still Lily's and destined to be born in a time that could see it killed in the light of the Dark Lords fury. Not knowing what to do he confesses the Prophecy he over heard to a pale Lily.
Albus Dumbledore ever a beacon of light to a world growing steadily darker seems barely surprised when on of his Order members comes to him at Hogwarts it isn't unusual what is unusual is that she brings with her a certain Slytherin young man. Not knowing what to do he spills the whole of what had occured desperately to Dumbledore who seems to take it all in cool and collectedly. Desperate to protect the child that Lily carries wither it be his or not. Severus commits his life to Dumbledores cause to protect Lily and the child. Thus his life as a double spy begins.
While many of the Order wonder of this, they are glad to see Lily back among there ranks. Though she pointedly ignores both Alice and James as though she doesn't see them. Things seem to be splitting down the middle. Drawing friends into conflict even with the War going in full swing. Sirius finds himself drawn to Dorchas Meadows who seems to want nothing to do with him. However she seems to watch after him longingly.

Neville Potter born one day before Harry half brothers by birth they are accompanied by the Lestrange's child. (to be named by Bella or Rudolphus ) Lily giving birth in Spinners End, under the watchful eye of Eileen Prince. A mistress of Potions as much as her son is. His birth hidden from the others. A intricate lie developed to protect the boy from the Darklord as Severus claims him as his own son. Born early when he was suppose to have been born two months later. Thus defying some of the prophecy to make it more fuzzy.
Lily and James divorce leaving her former friend and husband to be together if they want. Peter Pettigrew one of the Marauders and scared stiff servant of the Dark Lord. Warns him of Neville's birth as he was told to watch Potter closely. This means Neville must be protected and the Order moves into action. The chosen one still hidden beneath there nose unknown to most. Faux adds to the gambit when he gifts Lily with a single feather, something most Fire Birds never do.
The skirmishes continue into the year, until news of a the circlet Dissonance an item said to have been owned by the. Witch Morganna Le Fay is brought to light..An item said to be able to alter any one persons way of thinking. While Voldemort wants his arch nemisis dead..what if he could simple bring him to his way of thinking break him, make him the ultimate death eater ? ...
